The Sindoor Swabhiman Yatra is a symbolic and inspiring journey aimed at honoring the nation’s pride, unity, and cultural values. This remarkable event will witness the participation of 51 decorated cars and 200 dedicated ABSM companions, creating a powerful visual of solidarity and commitment. The convoy will be led by a Shaheed Rath, paying tribute to the brave martyrs, followed by a modern LED truck that will display impactful messages, visuals, and information throughout the route.
Special arrangements have been made for community engagement, including Raksha Bandhan collection tables to promote the bond between citizens and protectors of the nation, and postcard collection tables for gathering heartfelt messages from the public. A significant highlight will be the installation of the Sindoor Swabhiman flag, symbolizing self-respect, cultural identity, and patriotic pride.
In addition to the patriotic events, the yatra will also contribute to environmental sustainability with the Sindoor Tree Plantation, a meaningful gesture promoting ecological balance and symbolizing life, growth, and resilience. The journey blends tradition, remembrance, and environmental responsibility, making it not just a yatra, but a movement for collective pride and awareness.

The Sindoor Swabhimaan Yatra is a significant patriotic journey across Gujarat, designed to inspire unity, honor national pride, and showcase the cultural heritage of the state.
Beginning on 16th August from Nadabet, a symbolic gateway to the India–Pakistan border in Banaskantha district, this yatra embarks on a route tracing the western coastline and borders of Gujarat. The journey symbolizes a commitment to safeguarding the state’s honor and preserving the values of independence and sovereignty.
Traveling through key regions of Gujarat, the convoy of vehicles carries the message of courage, solidarity, and pride, visiting important historical and cultural locations. The route reflects the shape of the state, reinforcing the connection between its geography and its people’s spirit.
The yatra will conclude on 29th August in Dandi, a place etched in history for the Salt Satyagraha led by Mahatma Gandhi in 1930 a movement that became a turning point in India’s struggle for freedom.
This 14-day journey is not just a drive it’s a tribute to the sacrifices of the past, a celebration of cultural identity, and a call to strengthen unity for the future.

In each village, locals will pay floral tribute at the “Shaheed Rath,” hoist the “Sindoor Swabhiman Flag,” and plant Sindoor trees as part of Operation Sindoor, symbolizing strength and sacrifice. Residents will engage in postcard writing to express gratitude to the Indian government and signature campaigns to show unwavering support for the armed forces. Every evening, the community will come together for the “Bharat Mata Aarti,” creating an atmosphere of devotion and unity.
Women will prepare and dedicate rakhis to soldiers, reinforcing bonds of respect and care, while serving personnel, ex-servicemen, and their families will be honored for their contributions to the nation. An LED screen will present informative video shows highlighting key national events, such as the Pulwama attack and India’s decade-long counter-terrorism measures, along with discussions on “Geo Politics” and “International Relations,” emphasizing India’s growing global stature.
The Yatra will also feature unique segments like “Sindoor Swabhiman in the Sea” to symbolize national pride across all terrains, and selected venues will host cultural programs under the theme “An Evening for Martyrs,” blending tribute with tradition.
